Introducing Soundbridge: Empowering Creators through Education, Infrastructure, Funding, & Youth Development

In 2024, Monk Music proudly launched Soundbridge, a year-long initiative as part of the Shaping the Future of Innovation Grant (STFO), funded by the European Union and IDB Lab, aimed at bolstering the music industry in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) through education, infrastructure, and funding.

Empowering music artistes, producers, executives, and other service providers who cater to the music business in T&T to build and sustain long-term careers doing what they love.

Through the monetization of creative works, Soundbridge addresses United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) 8—to promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
